Chenin Blanc was born in the Loire Valley and flourishes in silt soils. We love this wine style and the reason we chose Clarksburg for our Chenin. Located along the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, the vines enjoy ocean breezes and a cool maritime environment. Fertile, low-draining silt soils make it the ideal region for the Chenin grape.
